The Outlaws make a trip to Aldergrove tonight to take on the Kodiaks at the Aldergrove Community Arena.
Mission City is coming off a tough loss last Saturday at the hands of the Wolf Pack where, for my money, the Outlaws dictated most of the play but just weren’t able to get enough past the North Van. goaltender.
Since dropping the first game of the season, the Kodiaks are winners of their last 5 games and currently sit in first place in the Harold Brittain Conference. The Outlaws are still tied with the Ridge Meadows Flames for the 3rd spot in the standings. With the Flames idle tonight, the Outlaws will be looking to take over sole possession of third with a win. Definitely not do or die yet but a win tonight for Mission City would definitely put the wheels in the right direction early on this season.
Who to watch for:
Mission City – CJ Lillies – A reunion of sorts for the Outlaws center as he faces his old team since coming over in a trade. Lillies is going to want to make a statement out there tonight.
Aldergrove – Kenny Prato – For my money, the most noticeable player out there for the Kodiaks when they visited the Mission Leisure Centre 2 weeks ago.
A win is not going to come easy tonight for the Outlaws, but the good work ethic the team has displayed the past 3 games, not to mention that the Outlaws have been very disciplined as well, should be a recipe for success.
If you can’t make it out to the game tonight, you can listen LIVE on our audio feed at mixlr.com/outlawshockey on your desktop or laptop and on your mobile device on the mixlr app for Iphone, Ipad or Ipod touch or on your mobile browser for Android phones and take us anywhere you go all season long.
