Tonight marks the second time this season that the Mission City Outlaws and the Ridge Meadows Flames lock horns this season. The last time these 2 teams met was in week #2 of the season in Ridge Meadows and marked the first win of the season for the Outlaws.
A little bit of a different looking Outlaws squad since the Flames last saw them and the same can be said for the Ridge Meadows team as well.
The Flames sit just 3 points ahead of the Outlaws in the Harold Brittain Conference with a record of 3-4-1-2 for 9 points after 10 games and sit in 3rd place. The Outlaws sit in 4th with a record of 2-5-1-1 for 6 points after 9 games.
Tonight, the Outlaws will be looking for a couple different events to take place. First of all, would be the chance to pick up the first Home win of the season. Secondly, closing the gap in the standings.
Who to watch for:
Mission City – Jonathan Philley – Philley was a force to be reckoned with in a losing cause last week against the Grandview Steelers with 2 goals and 1 assist and earned him the games second star.
Ridge Meadows – Travis Oddy – Oddy leads the way for the Flames with 7 goals, 3 assists for 10 points.
Tonight marks the start of a busy week for the Outlaws as they play 4 games in the next 7 days. A good result tonight can definitely pave the way to make some headway in the standings.
