Outlaws Busy Acquiring a Pair of Trades.

The Mission City Outlaws have been busy this week and announce that the team has acquired Austin Depourcq from the North Vancouver Wolf Pack in exchange for future considerations and Maclean Hewitt from the Ridge Meadows Flames for future considerations.

The 6′ 2″ 174 pound Depourcq will be a welcome edition to the offence for the Outlaws.  “We have a void with our hockey club that needs to be filled.” said GM Scott Kieler ” Some of those voids we feel have been taken care of with the acquisitions we made this week.”

The team also acquired Maclean Hewitt late Thursday afternoon.  Hewitt has 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points this season with the Flames.  This is the 5′ 10″ 175 lbs. 18 year old’s third season in the league and the Outlaws will mark his 4th stop in the PJHL.

Both players should be in the lineup on Wednesday when the Outlaws visit the Aldergrove Kodiaks.
