Mission Failed!!!

There wasn’t a whole lot of positive’s that can be taken out of the game that took place on Saturday afternoon/night from the Minoru Arena in Richmond as the Sockeyes exploded in the goal scoring department with a 9-3 shellacking of the visiting Mission City Outlaws.

Much like Thursday’s game against the Grandview Steelers, the Outlaws had trouble gaining the opposition zone and getting good quality shots towards their opponents net.  On the other side, much like Thursday, it seemed that everything thrown at the Outlaws net went in.  Something that is very puzzling for the Mission City coaching staff.

The pure lack of enthusiasm from the Outlaws, even when coming out to start periods by taking the warm up lap, has been very evident and concerning to the off ice personnel for Mission City.  Something has to give.  What that is?  Only time will tell.  Should be an interesting next couple of days that is for sure.

Liam Lawson and Jacob Wozney had a great game for the Richmond Sockeyes.  Lawson had 2 goals in the first period and Wozney had a natural hat trick in this contest.

It doesn’t get any easier for the Outlaws in the month of December and that starts with the 1st place Aldergrove Kodiaks who will pay a visit to the MLC on Thursday.  7:15 PM puck drop.

As for now you’re up to date.  See you at the rink.
