GAME DAY!!! Outlaws Host Kodiaks

The Outlaws have been very busy since Saturday nights loss making a few changes to the roster.  All these changes were necessary to help this team make a run for the post season and I really do believe that the newest additions will make a big impact.

It won’t get any easier tonight as the Aldergrove Kodiaks come to the Mission Leisure Centre for just the 2nd time this season.  The Kodiaks sit in 1st place in the Harold Brittain Conference with a record of 17-4-0-2 for 36 points.  The Outlaws record is 6-14-2-2 for 16 points and sit just 1 point ahead of the Port Moody Panthers for the 4th spot in the standings.  The season series between these 2 teams is 1-1-1.

The Kodiaks are coming into the game after a tough win against the Delta Ice Hawks on home ice last night and have been winners of their last 7 straight.  I don’t have to tell you how important it is to have a good showing tonight for the Outlaws.

Who to watch for:

Mission City – Dylan Kooner – Kooner will play in his first game in an Outlaws jersey tonight.  You can expect that Dylan will want to make a big impact tonight.

Aldergrove – Jonathan Philley – This will mark Philley’s first return back to the MLC tonight since being traded from the Outlaws earlier this season.  Jonathan has fit in nicely on the Kodiaks squad and may be looking to send a message to his former club.

Final thoughts:

No one in the Outlaws organization was happy with the game played in Richmond this past Saturday night.  The team also realizes the urgency that is needed from their club to make some room in the standings.

FILL THE RINK MISSION!!! Puck drop is 7:15 PM at the Mission Leisure Centre.  There will also be another Little Ceasars Pizza, Mission Minor Hockey Association shoot out competition in the 1st intermission.  Come on out and cheer them and the Outlaws on tonight.
