Tonight will mark the 3rd time this season that these 2 teams will meet. The Outlaws pulled out a convincing 4-2 victory at the MSA Arena back on November 15th.
In the season series, the Outlaws have a 1-0-1 record. The Abbotsford Pilots sit 2nd in the Harold Brittain Conference with a record of 15-8-1-1 for 32 points in 25 games this season. The Outlaws still sit 1 point ahead of the Port Moody Panthers for 4th in the standings with a record of 6-15-2-2 for 16 points.
The Outlaws were not happy with the circumstances that led to a loss on home ice last Thursday against the Aldergrove Kodiaks. Without sounding to much like a homer, in my opinion, officiating cost the Outlaws a victory against the Kodiaks. If you don’t believe me then feel free to pay the 3.99 on Fasthockey.com and watch the archive from last Thursday and let the evidence speak for itself. The Outlaws will put this in the past and move their attention to the Pilots tonight.
Who to watch for:
Mission City – Cam Bertsch – Bertsch has tallied 4 points in 2 games against the Pilots this season and will be looking to carry that pace against Abbotsford tonight.
Abbotsford – Will Latimer – I could be wrong but you would have to assume that Latimer is going to get the start tonight when facing his old hockey club.
Both teams are currently on a 3 game losing skid so something has to give tonight at the Mission Leisure Centre. Both games have been great this season and I would expect nothing less tonight.
The action all gets going with a puck drop at 7:15 PM from the MLC. Can’t make it to the game? Then watch the game on Fasthockey.com PPV or listen on our FREE audio channel at MixLR.com beginning with the pre game show at 7:05 PM.
As for now you’re up to date. See you at the rink.
