No Early Christmas Present for Outlaws

Friday night, the Mission City Outlaws were in Abbotsford at the MSA Arena in search of a solution to the losing skid their on with a tilt against the Pilots.  Unfortunately Outlaws fans, Christmas did not come early for Mission City, as finding the back of the net was a tough one for the team as they were on the losing end of a 4-1 victory by the Pilots.

Kolby Steen had the Outlaws only tally in the loss.  Steen hadn‘t had a goal since Nov. 15 so this was definitely needed by him and his team.  Hopefully that means good news for the team as they go forward.

There is just too much young talent on this Mission City team to ignore and you just get that gut feeling the players are going to break out soon and in a big way.

The Outlaws will now enjoy a few days off for the Christmas break.  Should be a time for the team to get recharged and ready to face the Richmond Sockeyes who come into the Mission Leisure Centre for a rare Saturday home game and mark on your calenders that it will be a 7:30 PM puck drop.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our fans who tune into the games on Fasthockey.com PPV and on our FREE audio channel at MixLR.com and to the countless fans that have filled the MLC all season long, a very merry Christmas and all the best this holiday season.  We will see you all on Dec. 28.

As for now you‘re up to date.  See you at the rink.
