After an up and down last week in the win column, the Mission City Outlaws will be looking for a big bounce back game against their divisional rivals, the Ridge Meadows Flames tonight at the Mission Leisure Centre.
The Outlaws are winners of 2 straight on home ice and will also be looking for some redemption against the same Flames team that squeaked out a victory over the Outlaws at the Cam Neely Arena 2 Fridays ago.
The Ridge Meadows Flames sit in 3rd place in the Harold Brittain Conference with a record of 15-15-3-2 for 35 points and the Outlaws have a more comfortable lead on the Port Moody Panthers for the final playoff spot with a record of 8-22-3-2 for 21 points.
Who to watch for:
Mission City – Tristan Dundas – Dundas’ play on the back end has really come along all season and although he has no official goals this season, I have a sneaking suspicion that one is bound to go in sooner or later.
Ridge Meadows – Jordan Rendle – Rendle must like playing against the Outlaws this season as he has racked up 1 goal and 2 assists in the 4 meetings so far this season.
The Outlaws are getting closer and closer to securing that final playoff spot and a victory tonight will definitely help their chances further for that ultimate goal.
The puck drops at 7:15 PM at the Mission Leisure Centre. If you can’t make it out to the game, you can watch FastHockey.com PPV or listen for FREE at MixLR.com beginning with the pre game show at 7:05 PM.
As for now you’re up to date. See you at the rink.
