Tonight will mark the first time this season that the Outlaws and the Flames will lock horns for the 2014/15 season.
Last year these 2 clubs had some really good battles throughout the season. As both teams play an entertaining run and gun style of hockey, you can expect nothing less when these teams meet tonight.
The Outlaws are coming off a loss on Wednesday night against the North Van Wolf Pack in which a game where I think many would agree, that Mission City let this game slip away as they had the Wolf Pack on the ropes for a good portion of the match up.
Ridge Meadows has had a good start the season as they sit tied for first in the Harold Brittain Conference with 6 points with a record of 3 wins and 2 losses in 5 games. The Outlaws will come into the game looking to improve their record on the season with a win tonight.
Who to watch for:
Mission City – Tristan Dundas – Dundas improved greatly over the course of last season and I think it is safe to say that the Flames seemed to bring the best out of Tristan.
Ridge Meadows – Danny Wilson – Wilson leads the Flames in goal scoring with 3 on the season so far Danny has 4 points in total. As a point a game guy it looks like Wilson may surpass his totals from last season when he had 19 points in 38 games played.
A sour taste in the mouth, when describing the feeling the Mission City Outlaws had after Wednesday’s loss. Showing the same discipline that was displayed by the Outlaws in the preseason will need to be brought to the forefront tonight against a Flames team that has been known to get under the skin of Mission City in the past.
As always, the game will be broadcast on MixLR.com FREE audio beginning with the pregame show at 7:20 PM and the puck drop at 7:30 PM.
TIME TO EXTINGUISH THE FLAMES!!!
As for now you’re up to date. See you at the rink.
