GAME DAY!!! Outlaws @ Aldergrove Kodiaks

The Outlaws will be looking for their 2nd win in 4 games tonight when Mission City takes on the Aldergrove Kodiaks at the Aldergrove Community Arena.

The last time these 2 teams met, the game ended in a 6-6 draw which left a lot of people with an empty feeling and tonight the Outlaws would like to get a win over the Kodiaks.  One thing is for sure, the feeling out process is definitely over and these teams will be well acquainted with each other at the time the puck drops tonight.

The Kodiaks are coming off a convincing 6-2 win over the Delta Ice Hawks on Tuesday night.  Aldergrove sits in first place in the Harold Brittain Conference with a record of 3-1-1-1 for 8 points.  The Outlaws record is 2-4-1 for 5 points and they currently sit in the bottom of the Conference but with a close race in the standings, this can change in the blink of an eye.

Who to watch for:

Mission City – Brody Dyck – Dyck is one of the best penalty killers for the Outlaws who have found themselves in quite a bit of penalty trouble.  Brody’s speed and good hands helps ease the penalty trouble the team can find themselves in during a game.

Aldergrove – Cameron Davitt – The rookie, Davitt, leads the Kodiaks in points with 4 goals and 1 assist in 5 games played this season.

Final thoughts:

If last game was any indication, this should be a high scoring affair.  The Outlaws have definitely found their scoring touch but a disciplined game will be a must against Aldergrove who always seems to get under the skin of Mission City.

The game will be available LIVE for FREE on our audio only channel.  The puck drops at 7:15 PM and the pre game show begins at 7:05 PM.

As for now you’re up to date.  See you at the rink.
