After a crazy game on Tuesday night in South Delta which saw the Outlaws lose a heart breaker to the Ice Hawks, Mission City will look to get back in the win column tonight when they host the Ridge Meadows Flames.
This will be the second meeting of the season between these 2 clubs. The first meeting was at the Cam Neely Arena in Maple Ridge a couple weeks back when the Outlaws picked up a decisive 6-1 victory.
The Flames are coming off a thrilling double OT victory last night against the visiting Aldergrove Kodiaks. The win leap frog’d the Flames over the Outlaws into 4th place in the tight Harold Brittain Conference.
Who to watch for:
Mission City – Tre Mason – Mason joined the team on Tuesday and looked very good on the back end for the Outlaws having never practiced with the team. He is a fast, shifty, offensive defenseman who is going to be a great asset to Mission City as the season progresses.
Ridge Meadows – Grant Rostvig – Rostvig had the double OT winner last night against the Kodiaks. He also sits second in points with the Flames with 2 goals for 8 points in 9 games played.
It’s no secret the Outlaws are a banged up squad with some minor bumps and bruises. The team will look forward to getting some rest after tonight as they won’t play until next Saturday. That’s still not going to bring the Outlaws down. Look for a high tempo, in your face game tonight when these 2 teams lock horns.
The action gets underway at 6:45 PM at the MLC. Lets fill the rink and support the Mission City Outlaws. Tickets available at the door. Also game packs available as well.
