Weekly Wrap Up!!! Christmas Comes Early for Outlaws

The Outlaws finished off the week with a bang as they were able to pick up 2 more victories against the Ridge Meadows Flames and the Port Moody Panthers and extended their winning streak to 3 games.

The Outlaws were in Maple Ridge on Friday night to take on the Flames and after a tight checking first period which saw a scoreless tie, the rest of the game was all Mission City.  The Outlaws had Ridge meadows on their heals for the last 40 minutes and once again Mission City was able to capitalize on defensive breakdowns and power play chances and defeat the Flames for the 4th time this season by a final score of 6-1.

The Outlaws wrapped up the games before the Christmas break with a home tilt against the Port Moody Panthers on Saturday night.  Mission City would end the first period with a 2-0 lead and with no real push back from the Panthers, were able to keep the lead the entire game and defeat the Panthers by a score of 6-3.

Mission City leading scorer, Bryce Pisiak, added to his impressive point streak as he now has points in 11 of his last 12 games.  The Outlaws also got big contributions from the back end once again this weekend as Tristan Dundas , Brock Padgham and Nick Thompson all scored.

Next up for the Outlaws is the back end of the double header against the Port Moody Panthers next Saturday December 27.  6:45 PM Puck drop at the Mission Leisure Centre.

On behalf of the Mission City Outlaws Hockey Club we would like to wish all our fans a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.  Be safe and see you all at the MLC on Saturday.

As for now you’re up to date.  See you at the rink.
