GAME DAY!!! Outlaws @ Aldergrove Kodiaks

As the race for top spot in the Harold Brittain Conference heats up, the Mission City Outlaws will look to try and gain ground tonight when they take on the Aldergrove Kodiaks at the Aldergrove Community Arena.

There’s something about the ACA that brings out the best in the Outlaws as they have victories in both meetings this season.

There may have been some negatives from last week, but the positives the team can take further are far more superior.  The Outlaws didn’t lose any ground last week as they sit just 4 points back of the 1st place Aldergrove.

Goaltending Match Ups:

Goaltending has been extremely good for both clubs so this is the goalie stats by the numbers:

Mission City –

Jeff Veitch – Jeff has played 16 games and has a record of 7 wins and 6 losses with a 3.75 GAA and a .893 SV%

Bryce Phenix – Bryce has played 24 games and has a record of 10 wins, 13 losses and 1 tie with a 3.38 GAA and a .899 SV%

Aldergrove –

Ben Giesbrecht – Ben has played 19 games and has a record of 10 win, 8 losses and 1 tie with a 3.34 GAA and a .902 SV%

Griffin Baillie – Griffin has played 22 games and has a record of 7 wins and 5 losses with a 3.78 GAA and a .865 SV%

Final Thoughts:

The Outlaws need to get back to playing their style of hockey and not sit back and wait to see what their opponent is going to do first before responding.  They need to be that team that other teams need to adjust their game to.
