It was a penalty filled affair once again last night at the Mission Leisure Centre in Game 3 of the Harold Brittain Conference finals which saw the Outlaws come away with a 5-2 victory over the Aldergrove Kodiaks and take a 2-1 series lead. Mission City will be looking to take a strangle hold on the series but the Kodiaks I’m sure will have something to say about that.
The physicality took a whole new shape in Game 3 and the penalties were at a all time high in this series as there was well over 100 minutes combined. The story last night had to be that both teams power play was dismal as the Kodiaks were just 1 for 14 with the man advantage and the Outlaws just 1 for 8.
Due to some penalties last night by both squads that will require suspensions, I expect to see some different looking line combinations for Game 4 tonight. Maybe some new faces in the line up as well. Should make for an interesting match up once again.
The action ramps up at the MLC tonight at 6:45 PM. It was a great crowd last night. Let’s see if we can add to that Come on out and take in some Sunday night playoff hockey. Bring your FM radios and tune into the game on Outlaws Radio at 100.1 FM in the building. Can’t make it to the game?
