PLAYOFF GAME DAY!!! Outlaws @ North Van Wolf Pack PJHL Finals Game #1

44 regular season games and 2 playoff rounds later and now tonight marks the 49th PJHL Championship series between the Mission City Outlaws and the North Van Wolf Pack.

The Wolf Pack had an impressive season finishing atop the PJHL with a record of 32-9-1-2 for 67 points and have a record of 8-1 in the 2015 playoffs.  The Outlaws finished 3rd in the Harold Brittain Conference with a record of 21-20-1-2 for 45 points and are sporting a record of 8-3 in the playoffs.

North Van outscored the Outlaws in the regular season by a thin margin with 21 goals for and 17 against.  Mission City, however, is a different looking team than the last time these 2 teams met.  The Outlaws have also been very impressive on home ice as they have 1 outright loss since November 30th which came at the hands of the Langley Knights in round 1 at the Mission Leisure Centre.

Final Thoughts:

Like the first 2 rounds, the Outlaws will have to earn home ice advantage the hard way and this series will not be an easy one for Mission City.  The Wolf Pack are a very strong team both up front and on the back end.  Using the tools that made the Outlaws successful against Aldergrove and Langley will have to be ramped up for success in the finals.

It all comes down to this!!!  You will never miss a minute of the action as once again we are offering FREE ‘Audio Only’ Broadcast at mixlr.com/outlawshockey.  Mike Bordignon and Ron Chernoff will have the call for you LIVE from the Harry Jerome Recreation Centre in North Van beginning with the pregame show at 7:50 PM and the Puck Drops at 8 PM.

ONE TEAM!!! ONE GOAL!!! ONE MISSION!!!

As for now you’re up to date.  See you at the rink.
