PLAYOFF GAME DAY!!! Outlaws @ North Van Wolf Pack Game 3 of the PJHL Finals

The Mission City Outlaws will be looking to take a real strangle hold tonight in the PJHL Finals as they lead the series 2 games to 0 over the North Vancouver Wolf Pack after a 4-2 victory on Wednesday night at the Mission Leisure Centre.  This time the series shifts back to the Harry Jerome Recreation Centre in North Vancouver.

The Outlaws found themselves, for the third straight game, a little behind the eight ball as they surrendered the first goal of the game to the Wolf Pack but like Game #1, Mission City was able to buckle down and play their game storming back with 3 quick goals in the middle frame.  North Van would get back within 1 late in the 3rd but an empty net goal from Bryce Pisiak would seal the deal in Game #2.

Bryce Phenix was outstanding in goal for the Outlaws stopping 46 of 48 shots sent his way.  Mission City’s defense core had a huge hand in this success as well as they were able to clear the Wolf Pack bodies from in front of the net and forcing North Van to stay to the outside.

Final Thoughts:

The North Vancouver Wolf Pack are too good a team to take for granted and the Mission City Outlaws know this.  There have been a barrage of offence coming from the Wolf Pack in the first 2 games.  It just seems that the only real way to sum up the play of the Outlaws is that they are playing hot hockey right at the right time.

You can catch all the action LIVE from the Harry Jerome Recreation Centre in North Vancouver on our FREE ‘Audio Only’ Channel at mixlr.com/outlawshockey.  The pregame show begins at 7:50 PM with the puck set to drop at 8 PM.

2 DOWN!!! 2 TO GO!!!

As for now you’re up to date.  See you at the rink.
