Make it 7 in a Row for Outlaws

Tuesday night the Mission City Outlaws went into Delta seeking their 7th straight victory against the Delta Ice Hawks.

It would take extra time for the Outlaws to do just that as they were able to capitalize on a scramble play in front of Delta net minder Jacob Latrace in which Brock Padgham would rush in from the point and put it to bed as Mission City defeats the Ice Hawks by a final score of 4-3.

The Outlaws sit atop the Harold Brittain Conference with a 8 point lead over the second place, Abbotsford Pilots.  Mission City also sits 1st overall in the PJHL with the win just one point ahead of the Grandview Steelers.

The top line of Bryce Pisiak, David McGowan and Ryan Sharma had another good night for the Outlaws as the 3 combined for 7 points on the night.  Pisiak added 2 more goals and an assist to his season totals and McGowan had 1 goal an 2 assists as for Sharma, he recorded an assist.

It doesn’t get much bigger than this for the Outlaws as they prepare now for the Grandview Steelers who come to the MLC on Saturday night.  It shouldn’t take too much convincing on my part to get you out to the arena for the game but think about this.  Each team is putting their streak on the line as Mission City has 7 straight wins and the Steelers have been unbeaten this season a they are a perfect 8 and 0.  Something has to give.  Should be a great game.

The puck drops at 6:45 PM at the Mission Leisure Centre and if for some reason you are not going to be there you can tune into the Outlaws Broadcast Network on FREE Audio at mixlr.com/outlawshockey or on Pay Per View on Fast Hockey.  Pregame show is at 6:35 PM.

KEEP THE STREAK ALIVE!

As for now you’re up to date.  See you at the rink.
