When you’re the best team in the PJHL you expect things to go your way for the most part each game you play but on the other side of the coin, great teams need to face some adversity throughout the season in order to keep things in check and the Mission City Outlaws are going through that right now.
The Outlaws lost their 3rd straight game on Saturday night at the Mission Leisure Centre as they took on the Aldergrove Kodiaks. Mission City came into the match up with the lead in the season series and the Kodiaks got what they were looking for in the form of a victory.
The positive side of the spectrum for the Outlaws is that they have been in each game they have lost the last few games and are just a good bounce in their favour away from going on another run.
Mission City still sits 2 points ahead of the Abbotsford Pilots for first in the Harold Brittain Conference. The Outlaws are just 2 points out from securing a playoff spot.
2 HUGE games on the schedule for the Outlaws this week which will take them into the Christmas break. Thursday night the team makes the trek to Minoru Arena in Richmond to take on the Richmond Sockeyes. Game time is 7 PM. Then on Saturday Mission City wraps up the 2015 portion of the schedule with a tilt with the North Vancouver Wolf Pack at the Harry Jerome Recreation Centre in North Vancouver. Again the puck drops at 7 PM.
Make sure you tune into all the action LIVE for FREE on the Outlaws Broadcast Network at mixlr.com/outlawshockey as Mike “the boiler” Bordignon and Ron Chernoff have the call. 6:50 PM pregame show for both nights.
As for now you’re up to date. See you at the rink.
