Mike “The Boiler” Bordignon is currently bidding for the prestigious title of Best Broadcaster in the 2nd annual Fast Hockey Broadcaster Battle.
This contest pits all the Fasthockey Broadcasters across North America in a bid for the fans to vote for their favorite play by play announcer.
Over the course of the next few weeks fans will have a chance to vote once a day per Device(ie: Phone, tablet, laptop, etc.) Here is a breakdown of how the contest works:
Free For All Round:
All 50 broadcasters are biding for your votes until Saturday February 13th at 9 am PST. The top 16 will advance to the next round which is a head to head match up.
The top 16 will go into a bracket style format where 8 will move on to the next round then there will be 4 and finally 2 will remain where only one will be standing at the end.
The Boiler has been the voice of the Mission City Outlaws for 3 seasons and has had the opportunity to call a PJHL Finals series, Cyclone Taylor Cup Tournament and just recently the PJHL All Star Game.
This is a great way to showcase the Outlaws and the Pacific Junior Hockey League which is in its 50th season.
It only takes a moment to vote and the best part of all is that you don’t have to sign up. You can place your vote here: fasthockey.popolarity.com
Thank you to all that have and continue to vote and lets get “The Boiler” into the next round.
As for now you’re up to date. See you at the rink.
