Outlaws Weather Storm in Tournament Opener

After a bit of a shaky start for the Mission City Outlaws in the Cyclone Taylor Cup Tournament opening game, the Outlaws would settle right down and get to work on their offense as the routed the defending Cyclone Taylor Champions, the Campbell River Storm by a final score of 7-2 on Thursday afternoon.

Kyle Lennea had a 2 goal performance for the Outlaws in the victory and I caught up with Kyle after the game:

Ryan Sharma, Kolby Steen, Brody Dyck, Bryce Pisiak and Brock Padgham all tallied for the Outlaws.  Campbell River had goals from Aaron Brewer and Kobe Oishi.  I had a chance to get the thoughts post game from the Storms Play By Play man Mark Berry:

The Outlaws will face a very physical 100 Mile House Wranglers tomorrow afternoon as they faceoff at 4PM.  Make sure you follow us on our Soundcloud Audio Channel by clicking Outlaws Broadcast Network as I will have the pregame show available in the morning.

As for now you’re up to date.  See you at the rink.
