GAME DAY REPORT: Outlaws Set to Host Delta Ice Hawks

Tonight the Mission City Outlaws will look to seek a team record 10th straight win when they host the Delta Ice Hawks tonight at the Mission Leisure Centre.

The Outlaws, who have been playing some of the best hockey in the teams history, were able to pick up a 5-3 victory over their rival North Vancouver Wolf Pack on Thursday night.  With the win, Mission City has now improved to 10-1-0-1 for 21 points which is good for 1st overall in the Pacific Junior Hockey League and more importantly they sit 8 points ahead of 2nd place Aldergrove Kodiaks in the Harold Brittain Conference Standings.

The last time the Outlaws and the Ice Hawks met was last Tuesday night in what would turn out to be a bizarre affair between the 2 clubs.  The Outlaws were able to secure a victory in double overtime with a 4-3 decision.

Delta comes into the match up winners of their last 2 games and now they trail the Grandview Steelers by 2 points for the top spot in the Tom Shaw Conference Standings.
